I remember we had a spirited debate here last fall camp about Gevani being soft spoken and almost seeming kind of shy based on interviews. I know some people took some heat for making that observation and how it would correlate to leading the team in the huddle. I found Gundy's quote here at the end of this interview about Malik being such a strong and dynamic leader and sighting that as a weakness last year telling:

Malik and Gabarri definitely sound more of the part that you would want in your QB / signal caller. Will be Interesting to see how this translates.

Hey Edgers!

We're back with another edition of the EDGE podcast as @ryan_harlan7, @Brogan.Slaughter & I dive into spring football and talk Beaver baseball vs Oregon and national seeding...

The NFL draft kicks off tonight at 5:00 PT and if there's a name to lookout for in this year's draft it's IOL Joshua Gray. Gray's projection has him landing somewhere on day 3 in between rounds 5-7. He would be the second Lineman drafted after Taliese Fuaga went #14 last year to the New Orleans Saints. Another name to keep an eye on is RB Jam Griffin, this years running back class is fairly stacked but I still expect Jam to get a look as a UDFA and potentially carve out a role in a teams offense, as most former Beaver RB's get a look at that next level.

The winner of the tournament gets $250K, Odds for the draw of ping pong balls is based on their finish in the NCAA championships Draw is today - the beavs have one ping pong ball out of 74.
