Why go to Boise State anymore

I'm just curious. As far as I know, BSU does not have the advantages that a Power 5 school has in terms of stipends, scholarship guarantees, etc. Also, now that the P5 have taken more power, it seems nearly impossible for a non P5 to ever make the playoff. I guess I dont understand why any recruit with major P5 offers would go there. It seems like the P5 have rendered BSU sorta useless.
