First week of October which means it is time for our first BeaverBlitz.com War Room Watch List for the 2016 class. Not a lot of spots left, but here is our list of the top eight players to keep an eye on in the weeks ahead.

1. Shurod Thompson (Safety)
Thompson is expected to announce his college decision on Thursday. Oregon State is currently his leader.
2. Markell Simmons (Safety-JC)
The Beavers have been high on Simmons for sometime. Originally it was thought he'd be ready for summer, but he needed another term. Utah is also one to watch here.
3. Frederick Mauigoa (Offensive Line)
American Samoa prospect who also likes Washington State.
4. N'Keal Harry (Wide Receiver)
5-star prospect who will be visiting campus in three weeks. Longshot, but getting the visit and having his high school quarterback committed will help.
5. Jamal Smith (Defensive Line)
South Florida three-star prospect who has named Kentucky, Pittsburg and Oregon State as his leaders. Considered a DT prospect.
6. Kiwi Mitchell (Linebacker)
Former Texas, now Florida linebacker who has held the Beavers in high regard.
7. Tyrek Tisdale (Safety)
Three-star ATH who is committed to Florida, but had his eyes opened during a recent trip to Corvallis. Told BeaverBlitz, that he plans to sit down and talk to his family, but early playing time was enticing.
8. Chase Lucas (Running Back)
4-star running back who will visit Oregon State the same weekend as N'Keal Harry and Mason Moran (Colorado game).
