I read on Pure Pigskin (forget the real title of the site) an anecdote that I thought for sure would be reported here - but I haven't seen anything about it… Maybe someone can verify or elaborate.
Seems there was a VERY long line for walk up tickets just before the Spring Game - and the OSU ticket booth couldn't handle the numbers with any speed. An important Beaver Donor saw the predicament, paid with his credit card for a large number of tickets, then dispersed them to the winding line of fans waiting to buy tickets.
Did anyone here see this - or benefit from it? Can anyone write more about this. If true, it seems like a story a lot of us here on Blitz would like to hear about…
