Looks like whoregon will be going to Lubbock in 2023 with a Red Raider return in 2024. Pretty far out so things could change, but not a bad deal for them; get's them a game in Texas.
Not sure how easy it would be to do, but I wouldn't mind a home and home with Houston or even SMU; both are lobbying for the Big12. It also get's a game in Texas for the Beavs. Heck, what about UCF or S. Florida? Get some games in areas we are recruiting, against D1 teams but not powerhouses so we can be competitive. When we do get back up to speed, we can try to upgrade the competition.
I know it's a lot more complicated than that, but I'd sure like to see it.
