Last day of the surprisingly beautiful practice week before the ensuing spring game on Saturday. Both sides of the ball kept it fairly light and there was only a small portion of team drills run today. Understandable to keep it low-key before the spring game, it will be interesting to see how much we’ll get shown on Saturday.
Starting off with the running backs, we saw a healthy amount of Anthony Hankerson and Salahadin Allah today at practice. Along with the occasional work with Cornell Hatcher, Jake Reichle, and finally Montrel Hatten, who continues to work in that wingback role.
QB Maalik Murphy was hitting his WRs with lasers through the defense that left me a little in awe about his arm talent. Even in the Absence of Riley Williams, as expected in the Oregon State offense, the TEs were getting dialed up all practice. Jackson Bowers and Cooper Jensen were the more highlighted targets today, bringing in a collection of passes from all the quarterbacks.
