Stopped by Goss stadium on a beautiful fall day and watched about 5 innings of game one versus the hornets.

Burns pitched the first two innings, and was very up and down. Burns walked three in the first and Harvey had an error trying to shovel the ball on a force play at second, that led to a 1-0 Sac st. lead. No hits were needed for that run scoring on a sac fly.

Osu came back and scored two runs in the next inning one on a ball off the wall by frosh right fielder Joe McLaughlin for a double, then Harvey hit a sac fly for a 2-1 lead.

Connor Hjerpe came in and the lefty pitched three innings with mixed results. Hjerpe gave up four hits...two off the wall, and gave up a run on a passed ball, helped by another Harvey error. Hjerpe did get ahead of many hitters, and had several strike outs.

Harvey came up in the seventh and hit a solo homer to get the game to 3-4.

I left at that point, but I read osu lost 5-3, but led in game two 4-0 with Chamberlain on the mound.
