Time once again for the latest installment of the BeaverBlitz.com War Room. Here is our Top Ten Watch List going into this weekend.
1. Chase Lucas: RB--had a great visit to Corvallis two weeks ago with QB Mason Moran. Friend/teammate Hamilcar Rashed is also committed to the Beavers. Popular opinion is that he will stay home and commit to ASU. Oregon State is still in the hunt however.
2. Elysee Mbem-Bosse LB--visiting this weekend and according to Coach Hill, his high school coach, Mbem-Bosse is definitely very serious about Oregon State. Oklahoma is also recruiting him hard. He is still fairly raw as he's only played football for two years, but is an early enrollee which would be a big positive step in learning the new scheme.
3. Marcus Strong CB--Oregon State is definitely thought to be Strong's leader. His brother Justin is on the team currently. This could be the weekend that he makes it official.
4. Tyrek Tisdale RB--Tisdale a one time Florida commit, visited Oregon State earlier this fall and had great things to say about the trip.
5. Jonathan Kongbo DE--JC player in a position of need. Has yet to set a visit.
6. Kaelin Himphill LB--taken off this year and has been one of the top players in the Portland area. Currently has a greyshirt offer from the Beavers and will be visiting campus unofficially this weekend.
7. Frederick Mauigoa OL--American Samoan athlete who excelled at The Opening this summer. Expect the Beavs to receive a visit from him.
8. Riley Sharp LB--two way athlete (TE/LB) whom the Beavers are recruiting as a linebacker. Could be a commitment this weekend if all goes well on the visit.
9. Trayveon Williams RB--currently committed to TCU, this Texas product is good...really good. Expect the Beavers to stay in play here. Would be higher on the list if he wasn't already committed.
10. Michael Badejo DE--another DE, which is a position of need for the Beavers. Badejo committed to SMU in June, but a late Beavers offer may have piqued his interest.
