Ruling came down today that the NCAA has banned D1 programs from holding satellite camps and from having coaches coach at other institutions camps. STUPID.

Under Andersen, the Beavers did not hold satellite camps (last year), but the coaches did scatter and coach in several other camps including Georgia, Utah State, etc.

This hurts the PSA in that it limits exposure for those who cannot travel across the country.

My idea is to have the NCAA hold regional combines. The D1 coaches could attend and watch/scout, and film and stats would be recorded and shared in one database. It would allow the PSA's to focus on their own programs and most importantly school so they aren't travelling around all spring/summer before their senior year. Can't take full credit for this idea as Gary Beck and I talked a lot about this back when he was on staff at OSU.
