THE GAME: Oregon State (2-2) is back on the road for a matchup against the Tulsa Golden Hurricane (1-2) at 6 p.m. PT (8 p.m. CT) on Tuesday at the Donald W. Reynolds Center in Tulsa, Okla.

vs. TULSA: Oregon State and Tulsa meet for the third time with the series tied, 1-1.

The Golden Hurricane won the first matchup, 59-57, on Dec. 23, 1998 at the Pearl Harbor Classic in Laie, Hawai’i. Tulsa built a 39-21 halftime lead before a second-half Beaver rally fell just short. Deaundra Tanner was the lone Oregon State player in double figures with 22 points. Michael Ruffin had a double-double for Tulsa with 11 points and 12 rebounds, while Marcus Hill and Greg Harrington each added 10 points.

The Beavers won last year, 76-71, on Dec. 19 at the Far West Classic Invite at the Moda Center in Portland. Tulsa built a 10-point lead, but the Beavers outscored the Golden Hurricane 48-37 in the second half for the comeback win. Gary Payton II had 19 points, seven rebounds and six assists, while Olaf Schaftenaar and Malcolm Duvivier added 11 points apiece to lead the Beavers. Rashad Smith scored a game-high 20 points for Tulsa.
