- Smith said he's really excited to get back to Reser, especially with students being back... expecting a good crowd and a huge challenge
- Injuries - Trey Lowe won't be available, no further update on his timetable for return - No Luke Musgrave either... Smith said Luke's injury isn't season-ending, but that he's going to miss more time. Didn't go too far into details... Also said Everett Hayes is dealing with a minor injury but hopes he'll be good by Saturday... That's it for significant injury details...
- Smith once again mentioned how key it was to get Tre'Shaun Harrison into a groove against MSU... also highlighted Anthony Gould's toughness and playmaking as well
- Smith said USC's offense is explosive and their defense is really adept at creating turnovers... has a lot of respect for USC DC Alex Grinch from their time facing each other in the past... also highlighted how talented of a player USC QB Caleb Williams is, being able to make a lot of plays...
