You see, when it's time for something to happen, it happens. It dawned on me this morning as I lay in the sack, pondering the wonderfulness of the last 3 weeks (well, actually, this whole season).
It was time for our wooly mammoth, after 10,000 years, give or take, to make it back to daylight. Our Beav gals have been eating training table meals, working out, practicing hoops, all within a few hundred yards of said mammoth for the past several years. It is now their time. NO OTHER TEAM IN AMERICA has that advantage.
The mammoth has been the answer! Now we are seeing the results of this confluence of patience, hard work, and good timing. Way to go, Mammoth! Way to go, Coach Rueck. Way to go, Beavers!
Sorry to take this from Mr Spielberg's saga, but "MAY THE MAMMOTH BE WITH YOU, BEAVERS!"
