I know the osu defense was abysmal in 2018 and we were outmatched in almost every game...certainly in the Pac-12. It's been beaten to death whether it was personnel or coaching...I'm not posting this to start that debate. With the current recruits and returnees,I think we take a large step forward,especially them coming in this Winter. We have some pieces the coaches can work with,and several key additions that add attitude and much needed physicality to this defense.
Adding Gumbs,Roberts,Whittley,Sandberg,Morris,Irvine,Reichnor,and others will give us a huge boost. Now,can we keep this defense healthy and on the field every game? Idk. This Winter will be huge to adding strength,size and speed to these athletes...Here is my two deep as of the early signing period...I have done some weight projections...
