Quickie thoughts... First of all, this stinks, in a major way. Incredibly difficult for them to win regional, but not impossible, just like the 06 and 18 runs in Omaha...
First off, hitting needs to improve... I think the decision to roll with Segura will get some controversy, and I get that as well, it's something we discussed on the podcas this week. But IMO, there has to be more timely hitting... Just not enough outside of the Caraway and Turley bombs... I don't think they're in a slump per say, but looked to be a fair bit of rust IMO... That's why it's double elimniation, and I think this year in particular, if they're able to string together good performances, and that's a big if, they have the arms to bring them back in the series: My breakdown...
