I thought he was extremely classy in his comments about his departure. I would describe his tenure as a good beginning, very rough middle, and solid finish. He is leaving at a time in which there appears to be a ton of positive momentum. I think he did a lot of terrific things for OSU, however it was time for a new direction.
On Casey as AD. I think he is a fantastic baseball coach, one of the all-time greats and he is a tremendous ambassador for our university. Having said that, I think the AD job is a completely different challenge that requires a very different skill set.
