I am curious to hear other opinions about how the Beavers are playing. There has been a very noticeable difference during the month of May and more significantly since the AZ series. Defensive errors have significantly increased, base running error have become far too common, batting particularly with runners in scoring positions has been bad and pitching particularly relief pitching just hasn't been there....
What do you think has caused this? Did the heat in AZ take a toll? Have they simply lost confidence? Focus? Has the success of being a top rated team create too much pressure making them press?
You can see the desire is there and they are battling but if they are going to have a good run in Omaha they need to get back to April's form. Thoughts?
