Almost all community colleges in Arizona are dropping football after this year. Eastern Arizona is still looking at it but will probably drop it as well. That only would leave Arizona Western in Yuma with a football program. There is an effort being made by supporters to try and save the programs, but I don’t think they will succeed. In all, 5-6 programs would end. That will have big impact on those athletes who need to get their grades up, or develop physically, in order to play college ball.
