Now that we have moved away from the sheer horror of tOSU game, I started to think about this question.
How many other Pac-12 teams would have been better?
To be fair, I see Stanford, UW, and maybe USC as not getting blown out and staying in the game. I see only UW and USC with a chance to win against that level of talent.
For me, Az, WSU, OSU, Cal and UCLA all get blown out to some degree. Not as bad as OSU but at least by 20+ points.
ASU, Colorado, and Ucks lose but by 20 or less.
When I think about this I see the Pac-12 as needing a lot more talent but it also makes the point that only 2 schools in the Pac12 have any hope of going on the road to Columbus with the hope of winning.
