Last Game
Nick Madrigal laced a 3-1 single back up the middle to cap off a three-run ninth inning, sending the top-ranked Oregon State baseball team to a 4-3 win over Saint Mary’s Tuesday afternoon at Louis Guisto Field. Down 3-1 entering the ninth, the Beavers strung together a rally. Cadyn Grenier extended the game with a bloop single to left, moving Adley Rutschman to third. Tyler Malone walked, then pinch runner Andy Armstrong moved to second when Andy Atwood also walked.Armstrong served as the winning run when Madrigal singled off Saint Mary’s reliever Ken Waldichuk.

Keeping Pace With ‘62
Oregon State’s 21-1 record matches the 1962 club for the best mark 22 games into the season. The 1962 team started the season 23-1 after opening the year with 18 consecutive wins.

6-0 In Pac-12 Play
The then-Pac-10 Conference unified in 1999, and for the first time under the full league structure, the Beavers find themselves at 6-0 against conference foes. OSU was 5-1 over the first six conference games in 2005.

At Stanford
Oregon State is 20-23 all-time at Stanford, and has had a great deal of success at Sunken Diamond. The Beavers are riding a 10-game win streak at Sunken, dating back to 2009, and have won 12 of the last 15 games played there since 2005.

Madrigal Stretches To 14
Nick Madrigal singled in the eighth Tuesday to extend his hit streak to 14 games, which ties a career-long for the sophomore. He is 22-for-56 (.393) with nine RBI, nine walks, four doubles and two home runs during it.

Sweeps All Around
Bryce Fehmel and KJ Harrison will enter the series as the reigning Pac-12 Pitcher and Player of the Week, respectively. The Beavers are the first conference school to sweep league honors in back-to-back weeks since Arizona State in 1989 - the Sun Devils were a member of the Pac-10 South that season.

Singles
• Oregon State has won 16 of the last 18 games against Stanford since 2011.
• Oregon State’s 16-game win streak is the longest active streak in the country. It is also the fourth-longest of the season.
