I always like his point of view on Bay Area teams.

Some key call-outs (article linked below):
- "SJSU completed one pass longer than 20 yards (a whopping 23), and its success in the running game was deceiving. Two runs gained 108 yards (66 by Tyler Ervin and 42 by Kenny Potter). The other 18 rushes gained 42 yards."
- "In fact, remove those two plays from the entire equation, and SJSU averaged 3.6 yards per offensive play. Not good. *** How much of that was due to substandard quarterback play? A fair amount."
- Top defensive player Christian Tago got knocked out of game with a concussion sounds like, guessing he plays vs Beavs but we'll see..."Watching the Spartans without Tago, I was reminded of the impact Scooby Wright’s injury had on Arizona in its season opener: Palpable difference without the leader on the field."

As I noted in the other thread, SJSU gave up 428 yards and 5 TD's on 69 carries to Air Force last week. It should be noted that they were only losing 17-16 going into the 4th quarter before losing 37-16 (Air Force was an 8 point fav).

Beavs currently a 8 point favorite.
