The official visitors were on their way home today and I was able to catch defensive end commit Joah Robinett, right after he arrived back home from the trip. He told me that the visit solidified his decision and he is excited to get back up to Corvallis this summer.
A few tidbits that I left out of the article: He said that he spent a lot of time with Shurod Thompson and he could tell that Shurod loved it. He asked him if he was going to commit and Thompson told him that he was thinking about it.
He said that Wallace and Pierce were quiet, but he could tell that they were having a good time too. He wasn't able to talk with Trevon Bradford or John Bates as they were on unofficial visits and were separate from the official visitors.
He is up to 6-8, 225 and said that Arizona offered and expressed interest, but backed off when he told them he was solid with OSU.
Really well spoken young man and someone Beaver Nation will be happy to cheer for in the years ahead.
