Great to see the recognition of more Beaver talent as All Americans, especially since Solans is a Freshman. Despite being a Junior, Farnos may go to the MLS since was invited to be evaluated at the MLS College Showcase, so we'll see if he leaves or returns (I'm unclear on his status).

Oregon State freshman Sergi Solans and junior Arnau Farnos have both been selected as United Soccer Coaches All-Americans, the association announced on Friday.

Both players were chosen as to the All-America Third Team. This marks the third time in program history that the Beavers have had multiple All-Americans in a single season, and the second year in a row, as Javier Armas and Logan Farrington were both awarded the honor last year.

Solans was named WCC Offensive Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year after posting one of the best goal-scoring seasons in program history. He finished the year with 14 goals, tying him for the fifth-highest single-season total by a Beaver. Solans ended the season seventh in the nation in total goals.

Farnos was chosen as the WCC Midfielder of the Year and finished the year second in the conference in both goals with nine and points with 21. Overall Farnos has made 39 starts in 43 appearances for the Beavers.

As a team, the Beavers made the NCAA Tournament for the sixth time in the last seven years. Oregon State finished the season 10-5-1.
