** Practice is currently being held at Prothro. I am guessing we see QB's whittled down today. Andersen said three on Saturday and my best guess there is: Mitchell, Collins and Del Rio. I'd keep four in the mix with VanderVeen.
** I updated the weight on new Oregon State signee Leo Fuimaono as I got word from a source that he is 6-3, 305 officially when he weighed in on campus on Saturday. He holds his weight VERY well as I saw him and he didn't look that big.
** A few new offers:
4-star OL Jake Saunders from Loveland (Ohio) Loveland
** I saw a discussion regarding offers in a separate thread and how Cal has offered over 120 athletes so far. Rivals has Oregon State with 78 offers as of this morning and I can see that climbing to well over 100 in the next month. In talking with sources close to the program, expect the Beavers to probably extend 250-300 offers by late in the year. Some of those players they probably have little to no chance in landing, but they will extend an offer and will make an effort. If there is no interest they will move on.
I also like the fact that Spring Camp will be over by mid-April. That gives the staff a few weeks to get completely focused on May evaluation period, instead of missing a few days with a May Spring Game. Excellent planning IMO.
