The feature article today about Troy Dye indicates he will be taking an official to Corvallis.
I'm not totally clear on this - and since things on the board are pretty slow lately, maybe someone can give me a brief summary.
I presume his "official" must take place after Sept. 1 as he is not yet a senior in high school. Is that right?
The article carries a certain tone of immediacy, but nowhere does it explicitly say that Dye's visit will be in the immediate future.
So, just to be clear, in real life this means: (1) he can change his mind in the next few months and not take a visit; (2) if he does visit it probably won't occur until Sept.-October, or even later.
