Three Beavers Taken in MLS SuperDraft

While the MLS draft isn't too impactful when compared to other pro sports drafts, this is still good recognition for Beavers men's soccer players:

• Round 1, pick 13: Enzo Newman to FC Dallas
• Round 1, pick 30: Sergi Solans to Real Salt Lake
• Round 3, pick 24: Arnau Farnos to NYCFC

FC Dallas has chosen 3 beavers over the last two drafts. Logan Farrington chosen by them last year as the 3rd overall pick saw great playing time this past season for Dallas, starting 10 games and playing in 29 (4 goals and 8 assists). I can see Dallas potentially giving some first team minutes to Enzo next season depending on their depth. Solans has huge upside long term, so it will be interesting to see how he develops.

Otherwise, I expect all will be loaned out to their lower tier development teams or other clubs for playing experience if they can't find first team minutes.
