Encouraged with the team. Good things are happening. It is only a matter of time until Stanford will have a battle on their hands in the 4th qtr.

I'm not sure I will renew my tickets next yr. I've already dropped from 10 to 6 season tickets. So far, 1/3 Of the season's games have been on Friday evenings at a time that the people the tickets were intended for could not use them w/o taking off from work early. We haven't even gotten to the Oct and Nov games. Most likely one or two of those will be night games. Which means I'll be giving away more tickets.

On top of that, I enter in Section B on the eastside. For both of the Friday games, not all of the gates were open - 9/12 for Weber State and 10/12 for Stanford (the remaining two gates for Stanford were opened after the kickoff). People were ticked standing in line. Hundreds of people were in line at the kickoff for both games. It just seems like no one cares what my experience is.

If fans matter, act like it. When the game is at a crappy time, provide extra stuff and extra entertainment.

I'm not sure how a fan base is going to be created. I'm afraid the season ticket base for OSU is going to continue decreasing. My donation and cost of tickets puts me close to $1,000 per game for my 6 tickets. The value is simply not there.
