Stick a fork in UCSB - they closed to within 5-3 in bottom of 8, but USC blows up for 7 runs in the top of 9.

Something I'm not sure I've ever seen... UCSB issues three intentional walks in that 9th inning. Uh, none worked out well and the results were increasingly poor each time... Sac Fly scores one, double scores 2, double scores 3.

Top 9 Cal (#3) and Texas A&M (#1) tied 1-1 in a winners bracket game. Bears got a couple 2-out singles and a HBP to load the bases in the bottom of 8, but the Aggies escape.
