Was talking in a thread on Pure Orange and ended up looking up the offensive numbers for some of Andersen's past offenses to see what we can learn about the 2015 Beavers. I think most of us expect us to be run heavy but based on the numbers I think we can expect to be VERY run heavy. There's been talk of Chris Brown or other running backs needing more carries this season... I don't think that will be a problem last year. Even if Storm has a great year there will probably be another 20 carries to spread around to the other runners. Anyway, just thought it was interesting to see the actual numbers.

Offensive Average Attempts
Utah State (09-11 were also with Baldwin)
2009: 31 pass, 41 rush
2010: 27 pass, 44 rush
2011: 22 pass, 48 rush
2012: 32 pass, 36 rush

Wisconsin
2013: 27 pass, 43 rush
2014: 23 pass, 46 rush

That's a six year average of 27 pass, 43 pass with three different offensive coordinators, including our current one. With a stable of good RBs, an experienced OL, and a freshman QB who's more of a runner I'm guessing we'll see quite a few games where we are running 40+ times and not many that we'll throw over 30.

For comparison here's OSU the last 5 years...

2010: 31 pass, 32 rush
2011: 42 pass, 26 rush (With Sean as a freshman...)
2012: 39 pass, 34 rush
2013: 48 pass, 27 rush (poor Sean)
2014: 39 pass, 31 rush
