NFL Scouts will make their way to Corvallis on Friday for Pro Day. This year it is not open to the public, but I will be down there to cover for Blitz. This event is actually run by the scouts/NFL, NOT OSU personnel so actual times are sometimes tough to get (each scout does his own time and they don't yell out a time for everyone).
Markus Wheaton is in town and will be there for Sean Mannion to throw to during drills since current players are not allowed to participate. That is great for Sean to have a familiar face/NFL talent to toss the ball too.
Dylan Wynn will also be back in town and I'm expecting that we see Terron Ward, Michael Doctor, DJ Alexander, Tyrequek Zimmerman, and Ryan Murphy too. I have not heard whether Jabral Johnson will be there.
I heard from a trusted source that Connor Hamlett will not participate and has hung up his cleats. Knees are too bad. Really a bummer since he is such a talented TE, but good for him for realizing it was time and to try to save his knees as long as he can.
What to expect from me: I will be posting here in The Lodge and will work to grab an interview or two afterward. Since it is run by the NFL, I always go in with a blank slate and then get what I can get. Sometimes agents get squirrelly too (last year when I went to grab Brandin Cooks, his agent stepped in and said that he would do one interview for everyone).
I will keep you all posted however here in The Lodge.
