On the Joe beaver show1240 a.m. yesterday,Northwest Christian's coach Luke Jackson was interviewed about the game today,his career at Creswell,uo,and the nba for 10 years. Luke was a very good player out of Creswell high school,and almost became an osu beaver. He was at the famous 44-41 Ken Simonton touchdown game,and later asked then coach Eddie Payne if he thought he would be at osu for his four years. Answering honestly,Payne couldn't reassure him of that. Jackson said that turned him off,and I believe was a strong factor with him going to the uo. Jackson's brother in law as some of you know is Adam Masten an ex osu player. Just an interesting story. Some coaches would have lied to get him to osu.
