·Cal Poly leads the Big Sky Conference and is seventh in the FCS for rushing at 275 yards per game.

·OSU’s “natural” uniforms last week ranked seventh in the country by Uniswag.

·Linebacker Shemar Smith (Miami, Fla.) is rated tied for first in the Pac-12 in the “cover linebacker” category by Pro Football Focus.

·Pro Football Focus also lists Daniel Rodriguez (Pleasanton, Calif.) as the second-best rated punter in the Pac-12.

·OSU is one of five teams (those that have played two games) that has not committed a turnover.

·WR Isaiah Hodgins (Oakley, Calif.) leads the Pac-12 and is sixth nationally with 266 yards receiving. He is 17th at OSU for career receiving yards with 1,417 and 59 of his last 75 receptions have gone for either touchdowns or first downs.

·The Beaver offense leads the Pac-12 for third down conversion percentage at 51.4.

·Jermar Jefferson (Harbor City, Calif.) is 15th for career rushing at OSU with 1,650 yards – he needs 39 yards to move into 14th.

·Artavis Pierce (Lake Alfred, Fla.) is 25th for career rushing at OSU with 1,386 yards – he needs 36 yards to move up to 21st on the list.

·OSU’s offense has allowed two quarterback sacks this season, that’s tied for the third-fewest in the Pac-12. Last year OSU had the most in the league with 48.

·Offensive lineman Blake Brandel (Milwaukie, Ore.) has a streak of 38 consecutive starts – ranks 17th in the country.

·Eleven Beavers have made their first college starts this season.

·Kickoff time for the Sept. 28 game vs. Stanford will be announced Monday.

·Mikayla Pivec (Lynnwood, Wash.) is a Preseason First Team All-American by Athlon, while Destiny Slocum(Meridian, Idaho) made the Lindy’s Preseason All-America Third Team.

GOLF (Women)

·The team opens its fall season on Monday, Sept. 16 and Tuesday, Sept. 17 at the Cougar Cup in Pullman, Wash.

·The Beavers are ranked No. 39 in the nation in the Women’s Golf Coaches Association (WGCA) preseason poll.

GOLF (Men)

·The team opens its fall season on Monday, Sept. 16 and Tuesday, Sept. 17 at the Husky Invitational in Bremerton, Wash.

SOCCER (Men)

·Team is 3-1-0 entering the week.

·Adrian Crespo (Valencia, Spain) was named to the College Soccer News National Team of the Week. He leads the nation with five assists this season

·Kolade Salaudeen (South Croydon, England) was a Top Drawer Soccer Team of the Week Honorable Mention, after scoring his first career goal on Friday vs. Davidson

·Gloire Amanda (Edmonton, Alberta) returned to action Monday after missing the first three matches due to injury. Amanda was an All-Pac-12 Preseason selection after leading the team in goals last season.

·The Beavers play their first road game on Thursday in Phoenix vs. Grand Canyon, and then will return to Lorenz Field for four-straight home matches. Thursday’s match can be watched at https://tinyurl.com/y6xl32cp

SOCCER (Women)

·The team 5-0-0 start is the best since 2010.

·Team travels to Houston to face the University of Houston (2-4-0) on Thursday with a 5 p.m. PDT match followed by a Sunday match vs. Rice (3-2-0) at 5 p.m. PDT. There is a livestream at https://tinyurl.com/yxb54c32

·Sophomore goalkeeper Bridgette Skiba (Portland) is ranked No. 7 in the NCAA in fewest goals against average (.195), tied for No. 16 in shutouts (4), and tied for No. 21 in save percentage (.889).

·As a team, the Beavers sit No. 5 in the NCAA in goals against average (.195), tied for No. 23 in corners per game (7.00), and tied for No. 41 in goals per game (2.40).

VOLLEYBALL

·The team takes a 3-2 record into a tournament in Seattle this weekend with matches against Seattle University, Gonzaga and New Mexico. Sunday’s 6 p.m. match is available via livestream at https://wacdigitalnetwork.com/seattle/

·Grace Massey (Beaverton) will move into the top 10 this week at OSU for career digs.

·Maddie Sheehan (Leander, Texas) is the 13th player in school history with 1,000 assists.

·Kory Cheshire (Lethbridge, Alberta) will move into the top 20 for career blocks this week.

·Maddie Goings (Aledo, Texas) has moved into the top 20 for career attacks.
