I noticed some comments from Dwight Jaynes, Kerry Eggers and others regarding Coach Anderson's demeanor during his press conference on Saturday. They apparently didn't like the way he replied to their questions. Dwight went so far as to say that Anderson hadn't "earned" the right to respond the way he did. Kerry also voiced his displeasure in his column.

For me, two things come to mind. First, there is a new sheriff in town, who is a lot more intense and is not going to put on a happy face to please the media. They are just going to have to get used to the new way of doing business. Second, the media attitude of know your place Oregon State. You are not u of o so you don't have a right to respond that way. I say BS to that. Anderson is a proven coach who has had great success wherever he has been. He has earned is stripes. Bottom line he is demanding respect for the program.
