On Friday the Judge issued a temporary injunction in Tennessee's lawsuit against the NCAA. The spring transfer portal will be crazy.

Because of this ruling the NCAA cannot enforce any NIL restrictions until the case is settled or goes to trial, including its original Interim NIL Policy. It also won’t be able to enforce its “rule of restitution,” which punishes athletes for following interim court decisions that are later reversed.

- NIL collectives and boosters are no longer prohibited from negotiating deals before athletes commit to a school, ensuring that deals can become part of the recruiting process.

- Athletic department officials can now facilitate NIL deals.

- Media companies can offer players NIL deals as a share to generate broadcast revenue. (I guess this means FOX and ESPN can offer deals to recruit players for their conference partners? We need to get a broadcast partner. Apple would have been a good choice, just sayin')

Most of these things were being done already - but it will be legit now for the spring portal window.
