- Coach McGiven is active in Southern California tonight. Earlier he offered 2018 QB Steven Comstock from Covina, CA, now he has offered 2019 QB David Baldwin from Upland, CA. Baldwin was a starter as a freshmen this year.

- Steven Comstock, a 2018 quarterback from Covina (Calif) Northview, picked up an Oregon State offer today. Last season as a sophomore he threw for 2,698 yards, rushed for 1,054 yards and scored 50 TD's.
12:15 pm update:
- I heard from Eugene (Ore) Sheldon OL Cody Shear who said that he will be making his commitment no later than July 5. He has not publicly narrowed his list, but will be re-visiting a couple of schools between June 16 and July 5. He said that "Oregon State is still very much in the mix."
- Shear's PAC 12 offers include: Oregon State, Washington State and Arizona. One would think they would be high on the list. Utah State, Fresno State, Hawaii, Army, Air Force and Colorado State are a few others that stand out, at least on paper.
