Mike Parker had his pre-season football show last night with guests Ron Callan,Jim Wilson,and Steve Preece giving their opinions from Spirit Mountain Casino.All of these guys were very impressed with the new staff,and what they are doing with the football program.Some things they mentioned were how organized the staff was,how they give mental breaks to the players learning the system,the closeness of the coaches,and the great condition of the players.Wilson mentioned how this new defensive staff was much more equipped to face the style of play on offense they will face with the 3/4 defense that gives the team more speed on the field,versus 4 defensive linemen.More mobile players allows your defense to better combat 3 and 4 wide receivers that are common in the Pac-12. Needless to say,Callan,Wilson,Parker,and Preece look for exciting times ahead for osu football.
