Iowa Falls (Iowa) Ellsworth C.C. offensive tackle Tanis Joseph picked up an offer from Oregon State on Tuesday and quickly set up an official visit. His time in Corvallis was a success.
"It was awesome," Joseph told BeaversEdge.com. "The campus was nice, the players were cool, and the coaching staff was good. I loved it."
The Beavs targeted Jordan Agasiva as a mid-year JuCo offensive tackle, but he instead signed with Utah. George Moore is also an option, but he is looking at a number of other schools.
The OSU staff also likes Joseph to be a plug and play offensive lineman.
"They want me to come in and play tackle," Joseph said.
Joseph enjoyed spending time with his future potential offensive line coach.
"He's a cool guy," he said. "I got to see him coach a little bit too."
Memphis, East Carolina, and SMU are Joseph's other top schools along with Oregon State. The two schools he's officially visited are OSU and SMU.
Joseph will take a mid-week visit to ECU and will take his final trip to Memphis this weekend.
He will decide in the couple of days in between his Memphis trip and before National Signing Day.
