.....Clearly this year has been one of the most difficult in recent memory. In my 4 years at OSU I think we won 4 games total and we tore the goalposts down in three of those games. Through all of those losses I remained a fan and attended all of the games. 25 years later I still try to watch all the games and get down to a couple games each year (kids competitive soccer is not compatible with season tickets). I do this because I love football and I love my Beavs! Winning is a bonus but not a requirement of my passion.
Admittedly, the current team has been hard to watch at times. But what surprises me is the number of posters in here that are not even watching anymore simply because we are having a difficult year. Some of these guys are the most vocal and critical posters on the board. I can appreciate the variety of opinions that include the overly critical but when most of your posts are complaints that are now evolving into "I don't even watch anymore" then I wonder why you post at all? If you don't care enough to watch the game then why waste space on a board dedicated to Beaver football.
I don't care whether you watch or not. If your passion is tied to winning and not the sport nor the team then take a break and come back in a year or two....things will get better.
