Good evening BeaversEdge subscribers, over the last few week or so, we've been working hard to gather as much information as possible. It hasn't been easy, it won't be easy but you can bet we're going to work our asses off as much as possible.
We've been telling you throughout the transfer portal, the Beavers are swinging for a home run. Will they hit a home run? We'll see but that being said...
The Beavers have significant interest in both Texas transfer Hudson Card and Clemson transfer DJ Uiagalelei. That being said, we have reasons to believe that Hudson Card is the primary target at this moment.... TCU among others also heavily involved with the former Longhorn to our understanding.
We do believe that the Beavers have met with Card at some point over the last week or so but were unable to pin down specifically when, we're still trying to work on that and will pass along that information when we get the opportunity. We do not expect anything in the immediate with Card but will be one to watch closely.
For Uiagalelei, there is some Hawaii buzz out there as you may have seen but we do not believe the Warriors right now are the frontrunners to land him. There may be somethings that could be in Hawaii's favor. What we do know is Oregon State is interested, he's at the top of their board as well to the best of our knowledge and will push for him.
Stay tuned here on BeaversEdge as we will have plenty more information in the upcoming days.
Nothing new on Grant Starck, I do believe he'll end up a Beaver at some point. He was at UCLA this past weekend. I do not expect anything from him during this week but I think we could hear something next week or right after the new year.
There will be no surprises tomorrow as far as I'm aware. Everyone who is committed sans Dorian Thomas will sign with the Beavers. Should be a pretty normal signing day. As mentioned previously, I expect Mason White to sign with TCU and in terms of Tyrice Ivy, I believe that will go into the new year
When it comes to Utah linebacker transfer Mason Tufaga, I expect the Beavers to work hard on getting him on campus sometime next month. If I am correct, transfers cannot take visits again until January 4.
