Six newcomers join the squad, led byMaxPreps First Team All-American Ethan Thompson and Gatorade Oregon Boys Basketball Player of the Year Zach Reichle.
The Beavers have played Saint Louis two previous times, falling 64-52 on Dec. 29, 1966 at the Far West Classic in Portland, and 24-23 on the road in 1927.
"We are excited to come up and compete in Portland,” Oregon State women’s basketball head coach Scott Rueck said. “This is going to be a fantastic event and we look forward to being with Beaver Nation in the Moda Center."
The Oregon State women’s basketball team’s matchup with UC Santa Barbara will mark the squad’s first-ever appearance at the Moda Center. The Beavers are coming off three-straight Pac-12 titles, and four consecutive NCAA Tournament appearances.
