While I feel thankful every single day having the opportunity to share BeaverBlitz.com with all of you, today is a special day to verbalize those thoughts and say a little extra ‘thank you’.
As you all get ready to spend time with friends and family and then gear up for the Civil War, I want to take a second to thank each of you for your contributions to the site. I truly feel as though we are a family here at BeaverBlitz and while we may not always agree, everyone here wants the same thing…the best for Oregon State and the athletic department.
So please accept my heartfelt thank you to each and every one of you.
To my sources that trust me with information, I’m grateful for your trust.
To the parents and student-athletes who read the site, contribute and grant me interviews, thank you for letting us be a little part of your lives.
To our writers and contibutors, oh my what would I do without each of you?
Adam, your help and follow through on recruiting is second to none and you’re really stepping up to be a great recruiting writer.
Justin, you’ve got a lot on your plate and I’m so appreciative that you’ve continued to write recruiting features for us at Blitz.
Brian, thank you for all of your help covering spring and fall camp for us here at Blitz. Yes, access has changed some, but you’ve continued to be a pro for us.
Eric Bowman, so happy that you decided to help us with our basketball coverage. The insight that you bring is second to none.
JP, what more can I say that I haven’t said in years past? I know what a time consuming process the Weekly Walk-Off is each and every week, yet you hang in there to give Blitz members the most in-depth Oregon State baseball coverage anywhere. You have been there since day one at Blitz, a true BeaverBlitz godfather. I also owe you for being a helluva moderator, even taking on the ‘bad cop’ role so I don’t have to. Thank you!
To my kiddos and Eric, thank you for your patience in allowing me to do something that I love. Yes, there are random work hours or commitments to break at very inopportune times, but you always deal with it and understand.
Last, but certainly not least, a huge amount of gratitude to Shoveller who trusted me almost nine years ago to take over his creation. He has allowed me to work from home and be a mom to my boys while also running my own business. Your trust in me and your willingness to help me with whatever I need help with has been amazing. I am forever thankful for this opportunity.
Thank you everyone. Enjoy your day and let’s hope for a Thanksgiving miracle in Autzen tomorrow.
