The tight ends went from scary thin at the beginning of spring camp to really deep by the end. Clute & Smith are veterans, and I'm excited to see Clute get more time after having to bide his time behind Hamlett. Smith obviously has talent, but I'm hoping this is the year everything clicks for him, since mental mistakes have plagued him for years.
Then there are all the young guns. I am actually really looking forward to seeing VanderVeen out there. He has transformed his body and I think could be a really good unknown weapon for the Beavs this year. Then there is Nall, the 'wonderkid' who has seen time at several different positions. Will he stay at TE? Time will tell.
