-A programming note: this will be the final nugget report of fall camp. The Beavers will be closing practice for the remainder of fall camp, including the scrimmage on Saturday. There will be coaches and players available to talk to the media after the scrimmage on Saturday, as well as Tuesday and Friday, that we will be there for.

-This will be a shorter nugget report. Practice lasted a little over an hour and live reps were very limited. Over half the time was spent doing special teams and positional drills.

-It was really hard to pick an offensive MVP for the day, but I’ll give it to the entire offensive line. The run blocking was pretty good during the small amount of live reps they did.

-Skyler Thomas gets our defensive MVP of the day. Thomas jumped in front of a Ben Gulbranson pass on a crossing route and picked it off.

- Ben Gulbranson made two of the better deep throws we have seen from him during camp, but unfortunately for him, they were both dropped. Tre’Shaun Harrison beat Jaydon Grant on the first one, but couldn’t reel it in. Trey Lowe got a shot on the second one, but dove for the ball and it went right between his arms. Gulbranson put the ball right where he needed to on both throws, but couldn’t cash in.

-On another note, Alton Julian was back running with the second team today.
