Hey Edgers! Hope you're all doing well!

Today was the last "official" practice of fall camp as the Beavers will take the next two days off before transitioning into San Jose State prep on Saturday. Saturday and Sunday are closed practices, and we anticipate Jonathan Smith's weekly press conference next Monday to usher us into San Jose State...

All that being said, here is today's content via @tjmathewson

NUGGETS - Note - As TJ mentions, today was a very very light practice...

Oregon State wrapped up fall camp with their 18th and final day of practice in Reser Stadium. In a very low-key (and light) practice, here’s a couple of notes that we could take away
  • Everett Hayes was not participating in practice again. As of now, his availability for week one vs. SJSU is up in the air. It’s been over a week since we’ve seen him. In his place, Atticus Sappington made a 40-yard FG, and Josh McCormick missed a 40-yarder off the left upright.
  • If you can pick one standout performance, it would be freshman DB Jermod McCoy, who showed some versatility by swatting away passes from both receiver Trent Walker AND tight end Jermaine Terry. That’s true freshman matched up on a 6-foot-4, 251-pound TE.
  • For the second consecutive day, Aidan Chiles went with the second team in one of the only live sessions. He led the drive that eventually resulted in the missed McCormick FG...
  • For the rest of practice, it felt like a field day. QBs doing tackling drills, defensive linemen doing running back drills, offensive linemen catching kickoffs, etc. It seemed like a team-wide maintenance day in advance of the two off days.
  • The Beavers have now wrapped up fall camp and will take the next two days off, before entering into San Jose State prep on Saturday and Sunday, which will be closed sessions. Next week is expected to be a typical game week in terms of media availability, beginning with a Jonathan Smith press conference on Monday…
