As one who doesn't put a tremendous amount of stock in stars, and yet loves to see us land 4 star players I found the following comparisons interesting.
The ducks just flipped a former Ohio State quarterback commit, 4 star Tristen Wallace. Now Wallace is rated the 7th best dual threat quarterback in the 2016 class by ESPN. His numbers were 2167 yards passing, 12 t.d.'s and 8 interceptions. He also had 1478 yards rushing for an additional 16 t.d.'s.
Mason Moran, on the other hand, isn't even ranked as a dual threat quarterback... His numbers for his senior year were 2882 passing yards, with 22 t.d.'s and 10 interceptions. So better numbers passing. He also had 872 yards rushing with 11 touchdowns. Mason was rated the 67th best Athlete by ESPN.
Now I wouldn't trade Mason for Wallace but just found it odd the way different players are sorted and ranked differently....not a "conspiracy" by any means, just interesting.
