I've been a bit down on Christian Donahue since Surprise and up until the ASU series. He was not hitting well and prone to defensive errors. Have to say that he started all three games of the ASU series, did a fine job of fielding (no errors) though he was involved in a lot of plays and he brought his batting average up to a very respectable .325. Christian was involved in some double plays and has good speed on the bases though he is still prone to an expected base running error now and then. I think he has been showing the type of development we need from the new players. Best of all, he allows Caleb Hamilton to remain at third base where he is a great defender and can use that awesome arm to throw out players at first base.
Here's to continued development of the youngsters.
