Chris Brown health

On OSU Beavers.com, they have updated player profiles that include spring game summaries and upcoming season outlooks. On Chris Brown's profile it mentions he many miss part of the season due to hip injury/surgery. This is the first I've heard of it. Any confirmation of this?
