This was a grow-up game. This team needs to learn what it takes to win big games. This kids have some talent but throwing all youth in together will take some time. Riley would had us blown out too but with all seniors and the same old system.
Of course I am bummed, that was embarrassing but I am still energized by the program direction and new-found accountability of the coaching staff. So rather than cry and am choosing to look forward to seeing how our 5th youngest team in D1 reacts in a home game on what should be a great early fall gameday in Corvegas.
