The search for Oregon State's new AD is winding down. Sources have told me that Todd Stansbury will be named the new Athletic Director as early as tomorrow. Stay close to The Lodge for confirmation once it is announced.
If it is indeed Stansbury, he brings a great wealth of institutional knowledge with him. He gets the money side of it, but is VERY good with the boosters and in fundraising situations. He is a former student-athlete and can tell a very compelling story as to why giving is so important. I can also see him meshing well with the current coaches.
