Not a lot to be said after a whippin' like that. There will be no Giant Killer Award this year, but I will have points out for tomorrow. I appreciate the posts staying mostly sane...it was ugly, no doubt about it, but a lot of people expected ugly games this year. It really exposed areas that the Beavers need to shore up via recruiting and I do think we see the Beavers start looking at JuCo's, especially at DE.
Two things...offensively, I still don't know why we didn't see more running to start the game. Arizona run defense was not good going into this game. I don't think we saw Chris Brown, so he must still be down.
Defensively, I don't see the horses to run a 3-5-3. The Beavers got knocked off their blocks up front and the DE's weren't setting the edge.
It was ugly, but the youth on this team is good in that they will take this to the film room and learn A LOT.
Was surprised at the showing after a bye week. Arizona was coming off a week of playing Stanford, but it was the Beavers who looked battered from the start.
