Here are my top five recruiting targets for Oregon State (does not include Beav commits) and where I think they stand in their recruitment.
I'd love to hear your top five list as well.

5. Sacramento (Calif.) Inderkum - 6-foot-1, 180-pounds - safety Trajon Cotton - three-star recruit
- A big part of why Cotton is on this list is because of how well connected he is as a prospect. Younger prospects in Northern California and other top 2017 OSU targets know Cotton well - and that really helps on the recruiting front. It helps bring a "swagger" in other recruits eyes when a school lands someone they really like and respect. On the field, with Oregon State losing Devin Chappell, they could use more depth at the position. Right now, everything I've been hearing points to Cotton committing to OSU.
Cotton = Beav
4. Wahiawa (Hawaii) Leilehua - 6-foot-1, 170-pounds - safety Charles Watson - three-star recruit
- I didn't think OSU would make his top two that he released a few days ago as BYU has been his long time favorite and he was slotted to take a Vanderbilt official visit at the end of January. However, he cancelled the Vandy visit and has a top two of OSU and BYU. I thought that BYU was the clear cut leader for him because of how high he's been on them for such a long time, but I heard from a couple of good sources that told me OSU would likely be his landing spot. I'm actually not sure where he stands on being mormon/taking an LDS trip, but I've heard that the BYU honor code might be too strict for him.
Watson = looking like he'll end up a Beav
3. Fort Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas - 5-foot-10, 185-pounds - running back Kyshaun Bryan - three star recruit
- You can replace Bryan with Kesi Ah-Hoy, Conor Wedington (who I think is the No. 1 guy, but he is a long shot), or Calvin Tyler (let me know if I missed any RB targets) at No. 3 on this list. Basically, Oregon State really, really wants a second running back with TJ Green. So if they get one of their guys, then that's fantastic. The way I see it, the guys they went after earliest are RB targets they want the most. After the dead period began is when they started offering new RB recruits, and Wedington was first. Just in the past week, we saw Bryan get offered, then Tyler (I believe), and so on... Bryan is committed to South Carolina, and as I've reported, the Gamecocks are not taking a 2017 RB anymore. I expect him to decommit soon, but every day that passes, the more I'd be worried that South Carolina will end up taking him.
Bryan = looking like he'll end up a Beav
2. Lancaster (Calif.) Antelope Valley - 6-foot-5, 225-pounds - tight end Moses Robinson-Carr - three-star recruit
- Robinson-Carr is a big time recruit that decommitted from Oregon soon after Taggart was hired. I'm not exactly sure where Robinson-Carr is at with his recruitment, but there are talks that he'll be visiting Oregon State on January 20, which is the same weekend that his teammate, Colorado CB commit Morrell Osling, will be visiting OSU. I'd imagine UO is still trying to get the massive TE prospect, and he's officially visiting UCLA this weekend... Oregon State would like to have a TE in this class, and Carson Terrell is the only other guy they're going after, as far as I know. Robinson-Carr would be a HUGE pickup for Oregon State.
Robinson-Carr = too early to tell
1. College of San Mateo (Calif.) - 6-foot-7, 308-pounds - offensive tackle George Moore - three-star recruit
- If Moore was able to sign in December to enroll early, he'd be in Corvallis right now. As I imagined, other schools looking for a late junior college OT would come hunting for Moore, and it has happened. Moore is officially visiting Arizona State this weekend, and although I don't believe Auburn has offered yet, he is going there next weekend for an official. Things are really heating up for Moore, and Oregon State needs to target him hard down the stretch.
Moore = 50/50 right now
